Do you look at those sales page with the fancy cars, mansions and beach holidays and wish that was you? But then you buy the product, read it, start making an attempt at putting it into practise, but its a bit hard because you really aren’t sure what they are talking about. Then when you don’t see any results straight away you continue to look for that next money making idea. Unfortunately there are too many ‘get rich quick’ con artists out there just waiting to take your money. Most of the pictures you see on their sales pages are pictures purchased from sites like istock.com and dreamstime.com. Now, I’m not saying that all money making opportunities are scams because they aren’t and in fact there are many that are the real deal. The other problem is that even those that are the real deal, sometimes the information is just too much to take in and you begin to suffer from information overload and just get completely lost. Most ebooks just don’t quite give you clear enough step by step instructions on exactly how to do it. For years I just wished that I could find something that would show me ‘exactly’ how to do it. Not just a basic run down on what affiliate marketing is, or what blogging is all about, or article marketing, or site flipping, I didn’t want any basic run downs – I wanted STEP BY STEP instructions. Too hard to find unfortunately. However, I struggled along and learned everything that I could and I ventured my way into site flipping. Site flipping isn’t something I actually thought I’d be able to do but when I started learning I found it quite easy. I still didn’t have that ellusive instruction manual that I was after though but I was determined to make this work. And I did! No, I don’t drive a nice fancy car – I drive an 8 seater people mover that’s big enough to fit in the kids and the dog. I don’t live in a huge mansion either. I have a nice 4 bedroom home in the suburbs of South Australia. But I’ll tell you what working online has done for me. The last 6 months of 2007 my family and I travelled around Australia in our caravan. I was able to afford a 6 month holiday and by working online I was able to take my laptop with me and do a little bit of work every now and then. This year, we have just purchased our first investment home, something we have wanted to do for years but have never been able to afford it. Whatever it is you want to do – buy a flashy car, a mansion, a nice 4 bedroom home, an investment home or go on a holiday – whatever it is, you will only ever be able to do it if you are willing to become your own boss, treat your online business like a business, and put a little bit of effort into it.
